With the Teams Pre 1965 FIA specification MG MGB ready, after a single test day to shake the car down and get the two drivers used to the car, it was then straight to Spa Francorchamps for the £ hour Classic Race at the Spa Summer classic. Ferrari 308

Whilst not unusual, Its not exactly every day that we have a Ferrari in for a service mixing it with MG’s, Jaguars, Porches and racing cars. Today we have a Freshly imported LHD Ferrari 308. first and second on the grid

In the MG Challenge Race at Silverstone during MG Live the MCR prepared cars took Class pole and 2nd and 2nd and 3rd on the overall grid ahead of many class A cars. The MG Midget will look familiar to most people, despite the car running a Midland Classic Restorations produced Sebring Sprite one piece bonnet and front end.  but the Lenham uses a different bonnet and a fastback roof and rear bodywork giving it a very different look.   Both cars use an MCR built race engine and this weekend were run by Midland Classic Restorations...

Class Wins a plenty

Its been a busy couple of weeks in the workshop, thats been rewarded with some great success. At Brands hatch on the Bank Holiday Weekend we were running Andy and Chris Southcott a very fast father and son pairing. For this meeting Andy was running a Lenham and Chris the Sprite.  With Dom looking after the cars they took 1st and second in class for both races with Andy winning family bragging rights.     The following weekend would see the team at Silverstone With the Classic and Sports Car Club, with the usual appendix K...
